Where do I begin. Lindsey and I have been the closest of friends since we were about 10 years old. My family moved a lot when I was younger so I never really had the chance to develop a deep connection with other kids my age. I remember at the end of fourth grade I finally found a group of friends I loved. I loved my school, I was so happy we were settled in San Luis Obispo. Or so I thought, right before the last few weeks of school my parents told me we had to move again. They said we would apply for a district transfer so I could stay at my school. Two weeks before school started I found out I wouldn't be returning to Bishop Peak's Elementary and my friends. I cried, hard. I still remember how sad I was. I was a painfully shy kid, I remember my parents walking me into my new class room and telling me, "it was going to be okay I'd make new friends". A few days later I met Lindsay Beall. I knew instantly I'd never be wanting of a friend again.

Flash forward 14 years later, through the raise and fall of boy bands, sneaking in her sister's room to try on her clothes, fights over things we will never ever remember and laughter, so much laughter. One afternoon I looked down at my phone and there it was a picture of my beautiful friend with a ring on her finger and a smile that looked like it would never go away. Shortly after the planning started. To say Lindsey was a dream bride would be an understatement.

Honestly I don't want to get into what all we put together to make her day beautiful. I want to talk about what makes our job worth it. As I sat here this morning putting these photos together and typing this, I cried. I cried tears of love and joy for these two amazing people. For the wonderful life they have ahead of them. I was so so busy that day making sure everything got done, Lindsey was taken care of and that the stinkin guests didn't walk down the aisle runner that I didn't get to experience it. I didn't hear the vows they made to one another, I didn't laugh at the toasts or dance till my feet were sore. But I would do it all over again just to make sure these two got the day of their dreams. I'm so blessed to call them my friends and that they entrusted us with their wedding day. I've never had another friend like Lindsey. As I looked through these photos every little memory came flooding back all the way up to the ones with Clay in them. Sarah Kathleen, you don't even know how perfectly you captured these two people and their families. Looking through them was like reliving the day all over again. So to Lindsey and Clay, for all the years to come I can't wait to live, laugh and watch you two experience them together. I look forward to the changing of seasons that take us far from each other only to bring us back together. I can't wait to see what the lord provides for you both and how he makes your love for each other grow even stronger with age. Thank you for letting me be apart of your lives. I love you both.
